About this deal

LP2 presents a run of perfect Pop gems, including Loreen with ‘Euphoria’, ‘Popular’ from Eric Saade, ‘Wild Dances’ from Ruslana, Helena Paparizou, Verka Serduchka and Netta, before heading back to well-loved ‘80s winners from Nicole with ‘A Little Peace’, Johnny Logan’s ‘What’s Another Year’, and one of the greatest singers ever, Céline Dion with the 1988 victor ‘Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi’.

Over on side 2, Måns Zelmerlöw with ‘Heroes’ opens, followed by ‘Rise Like A Phoenix’ from Conchita, before two huge hits from 2022; UK runner-up ‘SPACE MAN’ from Sam Ryder, and the huge viral smash ‘SNAP’ from Rosa Linn. Feel good songs, smoochy ballads and great memories of what Eurovision was like and is still evolving to be. ABBA with ‘Waterloo’ followed by two of the UK’s all-time favourite winners from Bucks Fizz and Brotherhood Of Man. But that aside it's still a good collection of songs even if it's a little top heavy with UK entries some of them not our highest scoring entries. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice.

The first disc includes the anthems ‘Hallelujah’ and ‘Love Shine A Light’ before the massively popular winner ‘Fairytale’ from Alexander Rybak, and dance-floor fillers from Charlotte Perrelli, Gina G, and Dana International. Over on side 2, ‘Rise Like A Phoenix’ from Conchita opens, followed by Måns Zelmerlöw with ‘Heroes’ and favourites from Verka Serduchka, and Netta. This unique 3CD album features 70 of the most memorable songs from the contest's history - including enduring fan favourites alongside massive selling winners. Flip the LP over for the final side which is all about celebrating the earlier years of the contest… the classic ‘Congratulations’ by Cliff Richard is leading the track-list. Celebrate the legacy with 36 songs across 2LPs – LP1 pressed on translucent red, and LP2 pressed on translucent blue vinyl. L’Oiseau Et L’Enfant’ from Marie Myriam leads into timeless ballads from Anne-Marie David with ‘Wonderful Dream’, and Gigliola Cinquetti with ‘Go (Before You Break My Heart)’, before closing with the timeless ‘All Kinds Of Everything’ from Dana. Note: it comes in a cardboard gatefold sleeve rather than a jewel case - not my favourite format to be honest, but it's nice and compact for the shelf!I really like this album as it manages to incapsulate the very essence of what the Eurovision Song Contest is all about. Flip the album over for a run of perfect Pop gems, including Loreen with ‘Euphoria’, ‘Popular’ from Eric Saade, ‘Wild Dances’ from Ruslana, Helena Paparizou and Eleni Foureira. A 5-LP box set presented in a rigid slip case, with the 5 individual LP’s, including track by track annotations on the reverse of each cover that include facts about the song, artist, and result at the contest. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. LP4 starts with ‘What’s Another Year’ – the first of Johnny Logan’s winners, and Nicole’s victor ‘A Little Peace’… as well as winners from Bobbysocks, Riva, Sandra Kim, Carola, and Corinne Hermès.To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. A must have for fans who never hunted for import collections which other counties have proudly released for years, pity it took so long here. Disc one concludes with KALUSH’s winner from 2022, Barbara Pravi’s ‘Voilà’ from 2021, Netta’s win from 2018, and Salvador Sobral from 2017.

The discs are just slotted into a cut half way inside the sleeve, I’m not a fan of this as the discs can get scratched with frequent use. This unique 3 CD album features 70 of the most memorable songs from the contests history – including enduring fan favourites alongside massive selling winners. LP2 opens with a run of contemporary classics starting with Duncan Laurence’s ‘Arcade’, and including Barbara Pravi’s ‘Voilà’ from 2021, Dami Im’s ‘Sound Of Silence’, The Roop, Loïc Nottet, plus two huge hits from 2022; UK runner-up ‘SPACE MAN’ from Sam Ryder, and the huge viral smash ‘SNAP’ from Rosa Linn. The earlier years of the contest are celebrated on LP5 – with the classic ‘Congratulations’ by Cliff Richard leading the track list.Winners Ruslana, Helena Paparizou and Emmelie De Forest are featured along with favourites from the past decade from The Roop and Eleni Foureira. Gina G, Verka Serduchka and Dana International bring the dance-floor classics, whilst Lordi and Måneskin brought Rock to the contest – and won! Sadly it’s just a cardboard trifold sleeve, no booklet or pictures, the contest has been quite the visual experience over the years, just to see the fashion and hairstyles over the years would have been fun!
