Clean, light colour with a strong cherry-fruit nose which took me straight to the Loire when I first tasted it. It has spend six months in large oak vats and has lovely soft tannins. Very more-ish. This was rated as a Top Five wine by the Official Mr Vine Tasting Panel who commented 'Wow – the first thing you notice is the lip-smacking acidity, but there is plenty of perky, crunchy red berry fruit and piquant spice underneath. The label might be rather plain but this has lots of personality for the money. Try drinking it lightly chilled - it's a stunner for the summer!'
